What James Monroe did with Chinney's Challenge

Hello Peace Fleece Gang, My name is James Monroe and I ordered 2 lbs. of Chinny's wool for the challenge. So what I decided to do is dye 1 lb. in various colours (2 oz. batches making 8 different colours out of the 1 lb.)

Then taking the other lb. of white and blending that in with the coloured to tone it down and crossing some of the colours as well to create even more colours.

Can you tell there is a lot of hand carding going on at the moment . Just thought I'd send out a some pics so you can see what is going on. Thank Chinny for growing such a nice coat of wool to share.

So in the pics you will see, the dyed bits going for a go round in the washer, then having an airing and then having their make over being blended/carded. Ah, such is the life. Can't wait to get it blended up and start spinning it. Cheers, James Monroe
