Plenty of yarn and batting to make four tiny pets, first by knitting a simple sleeve to fit your finger then using the needle felting method to create little faces, paws, tails, and spots or stripes. A great project for older kids and adults. Intermediate knitting skills, such as knitting in the round on double pointed needles and simple increasing are needed to be successful with this project. The needle felting tecnique is explained for the beginner and no prior experience is needed. | Peace Fleece is pleased to offer our new Felted Horse Kit. We have had great success needle felting these horses for the past six months with friends, neighbors and even Russians! Each kit comes with 2 felting needles and enough supplies to make two horses. These horses are not difficult to make but they do require some patience. We're recommending that a crafty eight year old could probably tackle this project provided they had some adult help. Horses come out to be approx. 9" X 10".
