COVID-19 has affected all of us in one way or another, including the Navajo Nation. With that in mind, we wanted to take some time to highlight various ways you can support the Nation during these difficult days.
Navajo & Hopi COVID-19 Relief
The Navajo and Hopi COVID-19 Relief is a community mutual aid campaign founded by former Navajo Nation Attorney General, Ethel Branch. She began the effort with a GoFundMe and in 10 days, the relief effort has expanded into a network of volunteers who collect and distribute food and supplies to Navajo and Hopi communities.
If you have the means to donate, please visit the GoFundMe link below.
Adopt-A-Native-Elder serves to help reduce extreme poverty and hardship facing traditional Elders living on the Navajo Reservation. They are a trusted humanitarian organization focused on delivering food, medical supplies, firewood and other forms of Elder support.
Adopt-A-Native Elder serves elders in some of the most rural communities on the Navajo Nation, many of whom do not have running water or electricity.
